The Children’s Center welcomes volunteers. We offer volunteer opportunities both inside the classroom working with children and out of the classroom working on tasks that support the Center. Volunteers are asked to commit to a schedule agreed upon with the assistant director.

Volunteers must also meet the following requirements before entering the classroom:
- Minimum 14 years of age
- Recent medical verifying good health-within 6 months (if working in the classroom)
- Verification of a recent negative TB test -within 6 months (if working in the classroom)
- Completion of Children’s Center visitor orientation
Interested individuals should complete the Volunteer Application and submit it to uicchildcenter@uic.edu.
